this2that vs LOVE by Livid
LOVE (Livid One-click Video Exporter) is a free desktop app for Windows, Mac and Linux, made by Livid, an ad-free video hosting company. Its page says it downloads a Vimeo library or transfers it to Google Drive or into Livid, and that it recreates your folder structure when you move to Livid.

Where LOVE by Livid is stronger
- It's free. We charge for anything beyond the free trial.
- It's a native app, which some people prefer to a browser tool.
- If you're moving to Livid anyway, it imports straight into it.
Where this2that is stronger
- Nothing to install, which matters on a locked-down work or church computer.
- Google Drive transfers run on our servers, video to Drive directly, so you can close the tab and switch off your computer while they run.
- Shared Drives in Google Workspace, for teams that want the archive owned by the organization, not one person.
- We don't host video, so we have no reason to steer you anywhere after the export.
Which one should you use?
If you want a free tool and don't mind installing an app, try LOVE first. If you want the library in Google Drive or a Shared Drive without keeping a computer running, or you can't install software, this2that is the easier route.
Want to try this2that? The first 10 videos or 3 GB are free.
